Bobbie G. (Richardson) Thomas, age 84, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021. She was born August 8, 1936, in McKinney, Texas, to Mildred (Stroup) and Glen Richardson. Bobbie was a secretary in the medical field. She married the love of her life, J.C. Thomas, in McKinney on February 2, 1957, and they were blessed with four children. Bobbie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening, needle work, her monthly family lunches and getting lost in a good book. She was a dear friend to many, was greatly loved by her family, and will be missed by all those who knew her.
Bobbie is survived by her sons, Jacky Thomas and his wife, Suzanne “Wendy”, of McKinney, and Garry Thomas and his wife, Teri, of Euless; her daughters, Lori Cross and her husband, Ricky, of Gunter, and Kay West and her husband, Steve, of McKinney; her grandchildren, Deanna (Evan) Cook, Matt (Stephanie) Thomas, Brian Millar, Brittany (Austin) Fernandez, Brad (Courtney) Cross, and Kristi (Daniel) Boutwell; her great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Ainsley, Collin, Hunter, Madi, Waylon, Hayden, Keslynn, Hayes, Greyson and T.J.; her sister, Betty Abbott and her husband, Scott, of Princeton, and Carol Strickland and her husband, Monty, also of Princeton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.C. Thomas, and her parents.
A remembrance gathering will be held at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
