Bobbie Rae Barth

December 25, 1930 - January 14, 2017

Bobbie Rae (Lowrimore) Barth of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 14, 2017 at the age of 86.  She was born on December 25, 1930 to Raymond H. and Golda “Goldie” E. (Trice) Lowrimore in Lamesa, Texas.  Bobbie married Charles Richard Barth on January 15, 1950 in Monahans, Texas.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas.

Bobbie is survived by her sons, Jim Barth and wife, Jean of McKinney, Mike Barth and wife, Barbara of Van Alstyne, Daryl Barth and wife, Debbie of Leonard; grandsons, Jason Barth of McKinney, Jamey Barth and wife, Mallory of Frisco; granddaughters, Sarah Marr of Pottsboro, Melissa Harendt and husband, David of Blue, Oklahoma; Jessica Lindemood and husband, Joe of Midland; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Goldie Lowrimore; her husband, Richard Barth; her daughter, Amy Barth; and her sister, Betty Hansen.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Ovarian Cancer Research or the American Diabetes Association.

The passing of Ms. Barth was sad news to hear but I know Heaven is a little brighter with her there and she also now joins her family and friends and especially her beautiful and loving Amy who was a good friend of mine.
