Bobbie Lynell Barnett, the daughter of the late James W. Barnett Sr. and Oneta Mae (Pullen), passed away November 15, 2022 in Glendale, Arizona. She was residing with her daughter, Kendra until her death.
Bobbie was born July 26, 1937 a few miles southwest of Farmersville at the home of her maternal grandparents, Robert and Lena (Lewis) Pullen.
She was raised in Oak Cliff, Texas attending Sunset High School until moving to Farmersville in 1952, where she attended Farmersville High School until she married Jimmy Joel Sisco on June 8, 1953. Bobbie and Joel had two children, Ronnie Kyle Sisco and Kendra Dee Sisco. After their divorce, Bobbie worked at Texas Instruments where she met and later married Roy Alexander Sinquefield, gaining a Stepdaughter, Cindy Sinquefield Bridges and a Stepson, Roy Sinquefield, Jr. Both Roy Senior, Roy Junior and her son Ronnie Sisco preceded her in death. Bobbie then worked at Digital Switch Corporation and retired there as a Capital Gains Analyst.
Bobbie was a Christian and loved God most. She served in the church in numerous capacities including teaching Sunday school to pre-teens, singing in the choir, and telling the story of God’s Grace on mission trips that took her to the country side of England and Brazil while at First Baptist in Farmersville. She later taught adult Sunday School and sang in the Choir at First
Baptist in McKinney, Texas. She served in ministries that assisted displaced persons from floods and hurricanes. One of her daughter’s favorite memories is when she would pick up pre-teens that didn’t have a ride to church so that they could hear the Word of God. Bobbie most definitely had a servant’s heart and when she was unable to physically serve, she financially supported many organizations that helped others to be more self-sufficient.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter Kendra (Art) Epse of Glendale Arizona, her only brother Jimmy Barnett (Lynda) of Farmersville, Texas, her grandchildren Stephanie (Brian) Klenzendorf, of Pflugerville, Texas, and Zachary Beatty of Corsicana, Texas, along with great grandchildren Grace, Ava, Luke, and Lilly Klenzendorf, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
At Bobbie’s request, her remains were cremated and a graveside memorial will be held on March 13, 2023, at 1:00pm.
