Bobbie Janiece Roberts Donihoo, of Garland, Texas, passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on July 20, 1931, in McKinney, Texas, to her loving parents, Mildred Jean Duncan and Willard Jerome “Preacher” Roberts.
On July 11, 1950, in McKinney, Texas, Bobbie married the love of her life, William Eldon Donihoo. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and devotion to one another. Bobbie was a faithful member of Crockett Street Church of Christ in Sherman, Texas, where she found great joy in her church community.
Bobbie will be lovingly remembered by her children: William Eldon Donihoo, Jr. and wife Kathy of Delight, Arkansas; Michael Glenn Donihoo and wife Donna of Tom Bean, Texas; and daughter Jan Foster and husband Mike of Garland, Texas. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and her sister, Pat Boren of McKinney, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Eldon Donihoo; her grandson, Josh Foster; and her siblings, Faye Langley and W.S. Roberts.
Bobbie’s life was a testament to love, faith, and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff, nurses, and aides of Stonefield Assisted Living and Memory Care in McKinney, as well as Choice Hospice, for the compassionate and loving care they provided to Bobbie.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and Hope Women’s Center in McKinney.
