Bobbie Gayle Wade of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024 at the age of 82. She was born on January 13, 1942, in Pecos, Texas, to Willard Cochran and Iva (McKenzie) Cochran.
On December 23, 1972, Bobbie married the love of her life, the late Robert Don Wade. Together, they shared many years of marriage filled with love and cherished moments until his passing on January 13, 2023.
Bobbie dedicated 30 years of her life to public service, working as an administrator for the City of Dallas. Known for her love of animals, Bobbie had a special place in her heart for cats, even though her husband Robert preferred dogs. However, above all, she loved her family. Spending time with her loved ones was the greatest joy in her life. Bobbie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Bobbie will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who carry her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by her son, Robert Corey Wade and wife, Rocio of Plano, Texas; daughter, Carrie Rau and husband, Matt of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Sydney, Zoe, Indie, Tyler, and Brennan; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, and parents.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, January 31, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
