Bobbie Davis “Bob” Dickson, age 74, of Plano, Texas passed away March 2, 2008. He was born August 8, 1933 in Edgewood, Texas to Dr. R. B. and Jeff (Davis) Dickson. On June 4, 1977 he married Mary Jean Nichols Wysong in Plano, Texas. Bob proudly served in the United States Navy and was a four year veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Christ Church Anglican in Plano, Texas and was a 33 Degree Mason at Tannehill Lodge #52 and also a Shriner. Bob is survived by his wife, Jeannie Dickson of Plano, Texas; son, Dr. Darren Dickson and wife, Dina of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Stacie Lynne Wysong and Barbara Slay of LaPlata, New Mexico and Mary Catherine Wysong of Austin, Texas; grandson, Tyler Wysong Moore of Austin, Texas and sister-in-law, Faye Livesay of Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jo Dickson and a daughter, Deanne Dickson. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Christ Church Anglican Chapel in Plano, Texas with Father Greg Methvin officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children or to the Christ Church Anglican of Plano.
