It has been an honour and a privilage to have know Blake, we have really appreciated his kindness to us. R.I.P. Kathleen and Terry, Australia Kathleen O'Hare, September 29, 2007 I was very saddened to learn of Blake's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of our friendship over the years. I remember the first day we met Blake and Mary when we were landscaping the front lawn of our new home on Canyon Creek Drive. A couple of years after Blake founded his own company he gave me some good advice as I started up my new company. We enjoyed playing golf on Saturday mornings. My children became good friends with Jimmy and Karen. Blake was the friendliest person I ever had the privilege of knowing - he always had a smile on his face. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. Bob Billman Bob Billman, September 28, 2007 My wife Jo Ann and I send our condolences and prayers to his wonderful wife Mary, her children and all of the Christian family. We wish them all well, and they have the certain knowledge that Blake, and his character, continues to be with them now and throughout eternity. Victor Jennings Hancock, September 28, 2007 Christian family, words can not describe the loss I am feeling with Blake's passing. You have all made my entire family feel like we are a part of your family. Blake was the most generous person I have ever known. He always made sure my family and I had everything we needed. We both share a love of fishing, I have forgiven him for the lies he told about the fish he caught. We will see him again, fishing in Alaska. We are here for you. We love you all. Bobby, Debbie, Ashley and Jeremy Ekes Bobby Ekes, September 28, 2007 May God comfort your family during this difficult time. I have very sweet memories of times our families shared when we were neighbors in Richardson. Lori Billman Randolph, September 27, 2007 Mary, Jim, and Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot take away the heartache of losing someone so special. We would always enjoy it when you would all come to visit Grandpa and Grandma Sue. I always remember all the jokes and laughter that went on while we were all together. I wish that I had been older to truly enjoy the company that Uncle Blake always brought when visiting us here in Arkansas. It seems that I forget alot of things from when we were younger. Uncle Blake meant the world to Granny Sue...and to us. We will truly miss him. I am sorry I can't be there with you all during this time, but please know that we are sending our love and prayers to you. We love all of you. Alisha Norris (Grisham), September 26, 2007 I will always remember the wonderful, lifetime memories that I have of your family on Canyon Creek Drive. I pray the Lord's comfort for you all now and in the days ahead. Traci Billman Drewery, September 26, 2007 Mary, I am sorry to read of your loss. Leon would have been saddened. Sarah L. Mounger, September 26, 2007 We send our condolences and prayers to the Christian family. Although I was just a youngster when my dad and Blake were neighbors and friends, I remember Blake well. May God Bless you all. Jeff Billman, September 26, 2007 Mary, Jimbo and Karen, please accept our deepest regrets. Blake was a credit to our trade. He was the first person to call on us in '77 when we opened our store, bringing donuts & treating us like we were his biggest account, even though we were probably his smallest. He will be always remembered. Sincerely. Jerry & Gary Carpet Design, Inc., September 26, 2007 Blake mentored me for all the years I was with Leggett. He constantly encouraged me and coached me. For that, I will always be blessed. He was like a father to me, a lousy golfer, but so much fun to be around. Blake, my life is so much richer since our paths crossed. You will be missed by so many, but never forgotten in our hearts. Say hello to Barb for me while you each sing One Ton Tomatoe. Jim Holloway, September 26, 2007 I wish my deepest sympathy to the Christian family and C&C employees.May God bless you all.Forever in prayer. Richard C.
