Billy L. Crowder, age 65, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 30, 2008 in McKinney. He was born October 31, 1942, in McKinney, Texas to Claude L. and Mildred O. (Smith) Crowder. He was owner and operator of Crowder’s Laundry and McKinney Marine. Bill was also a drag boat racer, sponsored by Pizza Inn and known by his friends as “Wild Bill”. He is survived by his sons, Brent Crowder and his wife, Deborah of Frisco, Texas and Sean Crowder and his wife, Bree of San Marcos, Texas; daughters, Stacia Loving of McKinney, Texas and Tricia Collins and her husband, Steve of Plano, Texas; ten grandchildren and his mother, Mildred Crowder of McKinney, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Crowder. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas with Pastor Bob Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
