Billy Ray Ash, age 70 of Dallas, Texas passed away on August 7, 2011 in Dallas. He was born on June 6, 1941 in Celina, Texas to John Ash, Jr. and Pauline (Perry) Ash. Bill married Cindy Pearson on December 18, 1995 in Dallas, Texas. He was an Accountant and a member of the First Christian Church of Weston. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Ash of Dallas, Texas; children, Tracy Michelle Munselle and husband, Wesley of Dallas, Texas, John Michael Ash and wife, Stacy of Allen, Texas, Britney Stanley of Minneapolis, Minnesota; grandchildren, Megan Sue Munselle and Brandon Wesley Munselle; mother, Pauline Birdsong of Celina, Texas; sisters, Dinah Sue McDow and husband, Michael of Dallas, Texas and Betty Nell Fowler and husband, Robert of Garland, Texas; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Bill is preceded in death by his father, John Ash, Jr. The family will receive friends during a Visitation to be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Celina, Texas on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at First Christian Church in Weston at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 with Dr. Michael Waco officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina.

I have fond memories of Bill during our high school days at South Oak Cliff. He always had a smile on his face and was full of life. We had some classes together and were involved in some of the same extracurricular activities. I pray for comfort for Cindy and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
