Billy Joe Allmon, age 78, of Plano, Texas, passed away November 29, 2007 in Plano. Billy was born April 7, 1929, in Brownfield, Texas, to William and Vida David (Karr) Allmon. He proudly served in the United States Army and was employed with Bell Helicopter for 25 years. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Allmon of Plano, Texas; son, Bill Allmon, Jr., of Ft. Worth, Texas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vida Jo Hilley in 2000. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 7, 2007, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
