Billie Jeane Mullins Bartley was born on June 22, 1933 in Westminster, Texas to Eunice and Bill Mullins. She married Joe Weldon Bartley on May 21, 1950 in McKinney, Texas by G.G. Burnett who was the Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church at the time. She passed away on April 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 88.

Billie worked at Dawson Propane Company in Whitewright, Texas for 28 years. She also worked part time at OK Feed Mill and Donigan Gin Company. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church from the age of 15 until 2007, when she and Weldon joined Pilot Grove Baptist Church. While at Bethel, she was the church clerk for nearly 30 years. She was involved in mission work through WMU for over 30 years and also helped out in the nursery for over 30 years. She loved children and even kept her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on a regular basis up until 2020. She loved them and they loved her dearly. She continued keeping her great-grandchildren often up until her death.

Billie is survived by her two children, a son, Joe Michael Bartley and Donna of Whitewright, Texas and daughter, Regina Faith Kent of Celeste, Texas; 8 grandchildren: John David Kent and wife Abra of Nashville, Tennessee, Billie Jo Murphy and husband Justin of Whitewright, Martin Kent and wife Natalie of Argyle, Kasia Moses and husband Kelvin of Nashville, Tennessee, Tony Kent of Celeste, Bobby Bartley and wife Amber of Whitewright, Brittany Lucas of Fort Worth; 13 great-grandchildren: Reed and Chas McBroom; Zy and Rylan Kent, Lindsay Ulmer, Zaidyn, Cooper, Addison and Maddox Bartley, McKenna Murphy, Chloe Kent, Miles and Charlie Moses. Billie is also survived by her brother-in-law Jack Bartley and wife Betty, sister-in-law Patty Goss and husband Lynn, and a host of nieces and nephews. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Weldon, two brothers J.W. and J.B. Mullins and two sisters, Jewel Barnes and Frances Micheli.

Funeral Services will be 2PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Pilot Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Don Hollister will officiate. A visitation will be held 6-8PM Monday, April 18, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas. Pallbearers: John David Kent, Martin Kent, Tony Kent, Bobby Bartley, Justin Murphy, Dennis Barnes and Charles Owens. Honorary Pallbearers: Reed McBroom, Chas McBroom, Zy Kent, Rylan Kent, Zaidyn Bartley and Cooper Bartley.
