Billie Faye Adams

Billie Faye Adams was born on July 10th, 1948 to Helen Mae Burns and Lee Roy Allison. The Lord called her home, and she gained her Angel wings on April 20th, 2021 at 9:00pm. She was the eldest daughter of 7 children. She married Charles Weldon Adams on October 29th of 1966.

Billie worked as a secretary of Grand Avenue Presbyterian church in Sherman, Texas for 7 years. She spent the remainder of her working years as a Certified Nursing Assistant caring for others. She was a born Caregiver.

Billie was an avid Gardner and Bird Watcher. Her morning ritual consisted of coffee under the gazebo while watching birds. She had a green thumb and a true love of gardening. If you asked her what her favorite flower was, she would reply with “ I Love Them All.” In the evenings you would find her watching Dr Pol, The Voice or Family Feud.

She loved her family and was always happy to see company. A chance to cook a big, family meal always put a smile on her face. She was known for her chicken fried chicken and fried potatoes. She would never turn down a chance at a good board game. Billie was a very loving and giving person. She was truly an unforgettable lady and admired by many. Anyone who ever met her loved her.

She is preceded in death by her Mother and Father, eldest brother, Dale Allison, and her husband, Charles Adams. She leaves behind 4 daughters: Angela Hyepock and husband, Jason, of Kansas, Shellie Shokes and husband, Brent, of South Carolina, Lisa Luster and husband, Jeremy, of Texas, Pamela Morrow and husband, Dustin, of Indiana, 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, her sister, Dorothy Lunsford, of Texas, Ronnie Allison and wife, Connie, of Texas, Donnie Allison and wife, Clydene, of Texas, Deborah Allison of Texas and Patricia Moncrief of Texas.

Billie’s was an amazing Mother and will be truly missed.

She will be inurned next to her husband Charles at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas.
