Billie F. McDonald, age 72, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 30, 2017. Billie was born July 15, 1944, in McKinney, Texas, to Roy A. and Ethel Pauline (Thomas) Andrews. She spent most of her career as a nurse. Billie was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids playing, going to the movies, shopping, and loving on her adopted animals.
She is survived by her daughter, Trina Perkins and husband, Danny of McKinney, Texas; son, Dana Watson and wife, Cindy of Farmersville, Texas; grandson, Dustin Watson, also of Farmersville; granddaughter, Ashley Perkins of Stephenville, Texas; great-granddaughter, Hayden Grace Watson of Princeton, Texas; great-grandson, Casen Watson, also of Princeton; granddaughter-in-law, Karen Watson of Princeton; sister, Barbara Barnett of Arizona; sister-in-law, Paulette Andrews of McKinney, Texas; brother-in-law, Glenn Bolton; nephews, Chad Andrews and Phillip Barnett; nieces, Amy Kays and Cindi Burns; and best friend, June Corley of Celeste, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry McDonald, brother, Roy Leon Andrews, and sister, Ethel Maud Bolton.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
