Billie Sue Allen, age 81, of McKinney, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2004. She was born December 22, 1922, in Athens, Texas to William Franklin and Susan (Coleman) White. On December 27, 1941, she married Richard Elwood Allen in Rockwall, Texas. Mrs. Allen was an insurance claims administrator for Terrell State Hospital for 35 years. She was an active volunteer for the Heard Museum and the Meals-On-Wheels in McKinney. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of McKinney. She was a faithful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a blessing to all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Susan “Susi” Mitchell of McKinney, Cindy Flippen of College Station, Texas, and Nancy Olsen and husband, Michael of Westminster, Colorado; brother, Baylor White and wife, Bonnie of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, J. Richard Harmon and wife, Katherine; Susannah McIntosh and husband, John; Amy Collins and husband, Doug; Matthew Flippen and wife, Heather; Micah Flippen; Jeffrey Richard Olsen and Robert Scott Olsen; and 2 great grandsons and 2 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 26, 2004, at the First Baptist Church in McKinney. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the church prior to the service. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell, Texas.
