Bill Scott Majors, age 82, of Sherman, Texas passed away December 24, 2009. He was born April 5, 1927 in McKinney, Texas to Ed and Ona (Miller) Majors. Bill graduated from McKinney High School in 1944. He proudly served in the United States Army and the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. On February 16, 1948 he married Dixie Day in Dallas, Texas. Bill worked for TATE Cheese Company in Clinton, Missouri for thirty one years. He is survived by his wife, Dixie Majors of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Tina Cambis and husband, John of Gunter, Texas; son, Randy Majors and wife, Patricia of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Julie Noe and Sarah Majors; great-grandchild, Joseph Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ona Majors. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2009 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas with Pastor Arge Brockles officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
