“I know enough about loss to realize that you never really stop missing someone - you just learn to live around the huge gaping hole that absence leaves in your life. My father meant so much to so many people that I know they will feel this void. I will always remember him fondly and wish we would have been able to have a closer bond. We must remember life is sometimes too short, so we must take advantage of the time we have together on this earth and make every moment count.” Billy Shayne Proudhorses, April 2, 2014 I was sorry to get the sad news about Bill. He was my closest cousin, classmate and football team mate. Too bad we only saw each other twice in the last fifty years. Thinking and praying for you and your family. L.C. I enjoyed working with him at Texas Instruments. He was wonderful to work with. I enjoyed getting to chat with him weekly at Breakfast in Plano. I will miss Him being there and chatting with him weekly. Crystal C. Smith, March 29, 2014 How we are going to miss you Uncle Billy!! So many great times and great stories that we all shared through the years. I think one of the funniest stories was when we were watching the Cowboys & St. Louis football game and Grandma stole the remote and changed the channel. It was funny and a little scary watching her & Vince fight over that remote. And we can't forget our attempt to climb the Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. Now that was an experience!! I know you are seeing more beauty right now in the presence of God than I can ever imagine, but I know I will see you again!!! Janet, when you came into Uncle Billy's life, you gave him GREAT happiness and I could never imagine a better person to love him and for him to love. You are a special woman & I love you dearly!! If you or Greg need anything, never hesitate to ask. My love and prayers are with you now and forever and y'all will always be in my heart!!! Beth McKamy, March 28, 2014
