My sincere sympathy to this family. We are cousins with Beverly. We go way back. My grandmother was Gertie Young Bailey. The Baileys and the Stroup's were cousins. We used to attend a Stroup Reunion in the park at McKinney when I was a little girl. All these wonderful people and relatives have meant so much to me down through the years. Beverly was a wonderful person and she will be missed by many many people. In Sympathy, Gretchen Gretchen Sellers Kroening, February 2, 2017 Deepest Sympathy to Christine, Kevin, Kent & Kody and all the Families. She was always a friend and there for us. Billie Rae Roach, January 24, 2017 When I taught at Blue Ridge, 82-86, I had Kevin and Kent in class. I was Sherry Donihoo then. Beverly was the type of person who made me feel welcome immediately. She was all about her boys and raising them right! She highly respected teachers and wanted to make sure that her children were not a burden. She did a wonderful job! I remember she was a wonderful cook and baker, as well. I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you all. Sherry Kirkland, January 22, 2017 I went 12 years in Princeton school and went thru all 12 years along with Beverly.. Dan Wiser, January 22, 2017 I want to express my sincere condolences on the loss of Beverly. She was a very special person and truly meant the world to me. I apologize in advance if I ramble here for I am hurting deep inside at getting the news. There are very few people who you can genuinely depend on at any time. Beverly is one of those people. Truely a heart of gold. Kent, Cody, and Kevin, you are very blessed to have a Mom like yours. I know I do not have to tell you that. She did a wonderful job of raising you all. I am currently halfway around the world in Asia and will miss the services. I experience a great deal of heartbreak at not being there. It will be praying for you all in the days and weeks to come. David Stroup, January 21, 2017 To Kevin, Kent, Kody and family, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your wonderful mom! She was so loving, gentle and kind. I remember, from our days in elementary school, her being a room mother for our class. She was always eager to help, with a sweet smile and an encouraging word. I have no doubt that this is how she always was. I know you will miss her, as will all those who knew her. May she rest in peace, and may the memories that you cherish of her carry you through this difficult time and always. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
