Dr. Beverly K. (Mills) Forte went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2020 at the age of 69. She was born July 6, 1951 to Wendell Mills and Martha Mardell (Wilder) Mills in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Beverly was Valedictorian of the 1969 class of McKinney High School. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of North Texas. Beverly worked as a Psychologist and Trainee Consultant. She lived in Plano, Texas for many years and also in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of Richardson Church of the Nazarene in Richardson, Texas. Her devotion for the Lord showed in everything she did.
God gifted her so many talents and she used each one to the fullest. Beverly was a published artist and writer. She has a passion for photography. Beverly always had her camera, so she could capture every sunset and flower she saw, turning it into beautiful artwork.
Beverly most loved her family and people she encountered. She was always ready to lend a helping hand. Beverly was a fighter and she never let her illness stop her from doing the things she enjoyed. Beverly was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt and will be missed greatly.
You will always be in our heart Beverly. We Love You.
Beverly is survived by her son, Jason D. Forte of Frisco, Texas; sister, Lisa Passons and husband, D.G. Passons of Wylie, Texas; niece, Kristine Passons; great-nephews, Brayden Spade and Parker Schwab; and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell E. Mills and mother, Martha M. Mills.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30, Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, the following are Ridgeview Memorial Parks guidelines. All are invited to attend the Graveside Service, maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
The graveside service will also be video recorded and will be available following the graveside service on Beverly’s obituary page.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Friday evening, September 4, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
