Betty June (Story) Snoddy of Allen, Texas passed away on November 25, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born on June 16, 1929 to Alvis Clyde Story and Roberta (Miller) Story in Allen, Texas. Betty graduated from Allen High School. She married Raymond Snoddy on July 1, 1950 in Allen. Betty worked for Texas Instruments in Richardson, Texas for over 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church of Allen.
Betty June is survived by her sons, Bruce Snoddy and his wife, Janice of Austin, Texas, Paul Snoddy and his wife, Cinda of Kingston, Oklahoma; daughter, Denise Snoddy of Murphy Texas; 4 grandchildren, Kris Snoddy and his wife, Aimee of Georgetown, Texas, Linsey Duett and her husband, Clifton of Manor, Texas, Josh Snoddy and his wife, Lauren of Houston, Texas, Angela Middlebrooks and her husband, Ben of Kilgore, Texas; 7 great-grandchildren, Kimber Snoddy, Megan Snoddy, Kylie Duett, Lance Duett, Hadley Middlebrooks, Cason Middlebrooks, and Parker Allen Snoddy; and her brother, Chester Story and his wife, Mickey of Cleburne, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Snoddy; daughters, Lisa Dawn Snoddy and Norma Lea Snoddy Holan.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Historic Allen Christian Church, 450 East St. Mary Drive, Allen, Texas 75002.
