Betty Lou Eason

Betty Lou Eason of Plano, Texas passed away February 16, 2020 at the age of 88.  She was born on September 7, 1931 to Thomas Leroy Brown and Opal Mae (Curtis) Brown in Tyrone, Oklahoma. Betty was a 1949 graduate of Stroud High School in Stroud, Oklahoma.  She went right to work raising her family with Mr. Joe Coleman and their children.  After the passing of Mr. Coleman, Betty married Mr. Bobby Gene Eason and together they had five additional children.  Betty worked for Texas Instruments for over 30 years.  Betty enjoyed gambling, reading, music and puzzles.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Rada Lackey and husband, Wayne of Conroe, Texas, Deborah Kirkhart and husband, Jeff of Plano, Texas, Karen Seals and husband, Steve of Ravenna, Texas and Gaye Arnold and husband, Steve of Rhome, Texas; sons, Larry Coleman and wife, Mary of McKinney, Texas, Dean Eason and wife, Wendy of Tomball, Texas, Carl Eason of Plano, Texas, and Brian Eason of McKinney, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Brown and wife, Linda and Donnie Brown and wife, Peggy; sisters, Alice Stedham and husband, Bob, Shirley Willard, Ruth Jones, Martha Sparks and Peggy Estes and husband, Travis; numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Eason, parents Thomas and Opal Brown; first husband, Joe Coleman; daughter, Linda Thornton; son, Bobby Coleman; granddaughter, Courtney Eason; sisters, Norma Hunt, Louise Coleman, and Carolyn Suskey; and brother, Roy Lee Brown.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Inurnment is to follow at Allen Cemetery, Hwy 75 S; McDermott E .5 mile cemetery on S (R), Allen, Texas.
