Betty Jo Hammonds Clark, age 91, of McKinney, Texas, passed away April 10, 2018. Betty was born June 10, 1926, in Weston, Texas, to Homer Mac and Bettye Ethel (Anderson) Haggard. She was employed with Texas Instruments in Richardson, Texas, for over twenty years. Betty was looking forward to being with her seven siblings who have gone on before her.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. McKee and husband, Jim of Lavon, Texas; grandchildren, Lisa Carson and John Adams of Plano, Texas, Harold Gene Record and Rick Record, both of Murphy, Texas; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Chandler, Dawson, Harrison, and Nolan; and sister, Barbara McMichael and husband, Lowell of Longview, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene C. Hammonds in 1971, husband, David W. Clark in 1993, and seven siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
