Betty Ann McKelvy, age 72, of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 25, 2017. Betty was born March 27, 1945, in West Columbia, Texas, to Frank T. and Medie B. (Smith) Williams. She married Robert McKelvy on August 12, 1967, in Andrews, Texas. Betty graduated from Wayland Baptist College in Plainview, Texas. She was a school teacher at Taylor Elementary in Abilene, Texas. Betty was a former member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Abilene. She was a current member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Paul McKelvy and Michael McKelvy and wife, Rebecca, all of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylee, Kasen, Cash, and Lincoln; and brother-in-law, Jerry Robinson of Odessa, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bea, husband, Bob, sister, Linda Robinson, and aunt, Donnie Smith.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Cottonwood Church in Allen, Texas.
