Dear Ones of Bette's Family: It has been a long while since Bette has been able to attend our Sunday School Class or Good Shepherd UMC church services due to ill health. Bette was a wonderful lady. She has not been forgotten. I admired her determination and faithfulness to attend classes and church when her health first began to fail her. We loved her and know you will always miss her. We miss her too but know she is finally at peace. Our prayers of comfort and healing will be sent for all of you. She has been in our prayers for a long time. Blessings and comfort to your family and friends. Sincerely, Tom and Janet Brown, Sojourner's Class, Good Shepherd UMC
Janet & Tom Brown, May 21, 2019 Bette was one of our favorite swim buddies at the Senior Pool in McKinney. She was never at a loss for conversation, jokes or words of wisdom. Her life experiences were many and she enjoyed life her way. Bette taught me how to make "Nutty Marshmallow Treats" in her kitchen, but they were never the same when I made them. Rest in peace Bette, you have always been in our hearts.
