Bertha “Bea” Couvillion, age 90, of Frisco, Texas passed away March 24, 2011. She was born on March 15, 1921, in Egg Bend, Louisiana to William and Josephine (LaMartinere) Smith. On March 20, 1940, Bertha married Irving Gordon Couvillion in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was of the catholic faith. She is survived by her son, Lynn Couvillion and his wife Rae of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Linda Bryner and her husband Dale of The Colony, Texas; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Flora Dunn of Pineville, Louisiana and Ina Stiner of Alexandria, Louisiana. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, and daughter, Eva Genny Mann. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held on March 27, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Saturday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
