Berry Allen Williams was born January 13, 1945, in McKinney, Texas to Amelia Smith Lively and Willie Williams. He was a 1967 graduate of Doty High School in McKinney, Texas. Berry served his country proudly and diligently in the United States Army.  He was employed with Collin Radio / Rockwell for a number of years. Berry had a strong love for music and enjoyed serving the Lord by playing the guitar at the McKinney First Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his health would no longer permit. He entered into his eternal resting place on Monday, September 25, 2017 surrounded by his loved one.

Berry is survived by his daughters, Tabitha Edwards of McKinney, Texas and La Toya Scruggs and husband, Ivan of Savannah, Texas; sons, Antoine Crite of Greenboro, North Carolina and Antonio Crite of Silver Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Destinie Edwards, Isaih, Elijah, and Aniah Scruggs; brothers, Billy Williams (Linda) and Jerry Henry; sisters, Willie Mae Singleton (Oscar) and Bernice Maxwell; special niece, Amelia Wheeler, special friend, Silvera Crite-Parker; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Amelia Smith Lively and Willie Williams, grandparents, Calvin Smith, Matilda Williams and Refuge Smith.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at The First Baptist Church, 401 W. Erwin Ave, McKinney, Texas 75069. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
