Bernard B. Maldonado, sweet, loving, and kind husband and father, of Plano, Texas was welcomed by his Lord and Saviour January 1, 2004 at Plano Medical Center. "Bernie" was born April 18, 1933 in New York City to Bernard Theodore and Josephine Maldonado (who preceded him in death). He was a graduate of Breck Military Academy in St. Paul, MN and from The U. S. Air Force as a fighter pilot. He was a business consultant in the health and beauty care industry. He served in The Gideons International and was an active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Wylie. He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley, of Plano; sons, Bernard, and wife Martha of Dallas and Justin of Plano. Daughters, Lori Jarrell and husband Greg and Christine Maldonado; grandchildren Amanda and Matthew Jarrell all of Colorado; and stepson, Damian Giadone of Plano. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Sam Tullock officiating.
