It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beegamudre N. Kesarinath, a beloved member of the McKinney community, who peacefully departed this world on December 6, 2023, at the age of 88. Born on August 5, 1935, in India to Nagabhushana Rao and Anasuya Bai, Sri Kesarinath's life was a tapestry of love, family, and spiritual devotion.

In 1967, Sri Kesarinath united in marriage with the love of his life, Sudha Acharya, in Mysore, India. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, creating a foundation upon which a beautiful family would flourish. Together, they embarked on a journey filled with shared joys, challenges, and unwavering support for each other.

Sri Kesarinath's spiritual journey was a cornerstone of his life, and he found solace and purpose as an active member of the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple in Frisco, Texas. His dedication to the temple community exemplified his commitment to faith, service, and communal harmony. He was instrumental in the early construction of the Temple. He was an ardent devotee for Dr. Sri Ganapathy Sachidananda Swamiji for over 50 years. Sri Kesarinath and Smt Sudha's journey with Sri Swamiji started in Srinagar Kashmir, India and spanned through Bay City, Texas, Augusta, Georgia, Romania, Amarillo, Texas and Frisco, Texas. In Bay City, Texas the family organized satsang every other week for 12 years. Sri Kesarinath and Smt Sudha additionally hosted Sri Swamiji for 4 visits to Bay City, Texas. They were one of the initial families active in the emerging Jesus Datta Retreat Center late 1980s. In Augusta, Georgia, Sri Kesarinath and Smt Sudha hosted Sri Swamiji for multiple visits and concerts. They additionally hosted Sri Swamiji in Romania along with Mexico. Their journey continued through Amarillo, Texas to Frisco, Texas. Afterwards, Sri Swamiji instructed Sri Kesarinath and Smt Sudha to move to Frisco to assist with the emerging Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple.

Sri Kesarinath got a degree in civil engineering from National Institute of Engineering in Mysore India. His career in India spanned Punjab, Gujarat, New Delhi and Kashmir with Tirath Ram Ahuja. Upon emigrating to USA in 1977, his career continued in Texas, Georgia, and Romania with Bechtel and Brown & Root. His over 50-year career professional career moved to retirement upon coming to Frisco, Texas.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sudha Kesarinath, and their loving children, Gautam Kesarinath with his wife, Divya, and Aparna Sulur with her husband, Chidananda. Sri Kesarinath's legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren, Anagha Lakshmi and Ananya Lakshmi, who were the source of immense joy and pride in his life.

Sri Kesarinath was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/beegamudre-n-kesarinath. The family will receive guests for a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
