Beatrice Gonzales Ramirez, 76, of Anna, Texas passed away on May 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.
She was born on June 10, 1944 in Kerrville, Texas to Ruben Sanchez Gonzales and Margarita Ayala Gonzales. Beatrice married Alfonso Ramirez on February 16, 1961 in Eastland County, Texas. She worked at many businesses in and around McKinney, such as Haggard Slacks, Blockbuster Distribution Center Mervyn’s Distribution Center in Plano, TX. Beatrice believed in God and towards the end, knew that He was with her and loved her. She loved her family deeply and still considered in-laws family, even after relationships had ended. She loved seeing her family together and cooking big meals for family gatherings. You could always count on her to be there during an illness, a birth, a wedding, whether the occasion was happy or sad, if it involved her family, she was there. She was momma to more than just her birth children, she was like a mother to all. Beatrice was an avid bingo player and could often be seen at East Plano Bingo, Arapaho Bingo, and Longhorn Bingo in Garland. She loved Garth Brooks, The Hallmark Channel, Alaska TV shows, crossword puzzles and handheld games.
Beatrice was survived by her sons, Alfonso, Jr and wife, Teri of Denison, Texas, John Albert and wife, Julie of Deltona, Florida; her daughters, Rebecca Spencer and husband, Jason of Van Alstyne, Texas, Rossana Garza and husband, Dino of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Chris and Katie Ramirez, Elisa and Cary Sanders, Dabree and Justin Grady, Desirea and Chris Jaresh, Dixie Ramirez, Dakota Ramirez, John Ramirez, Darrell Ramirez and Evelia, Charlie Lawson, Colton Semon, Anthonie Garza, Jasmine Garza; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, James Gonzales, Frank and Patricia Gonzales; sisters, Erlinda Salas, Rufina Duran, Flora and Willie, Sr Sanchez, Diana and Jesus, Jr Garza; uncle, Carlos “Charlie” Ayala; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfonso, Sr; parents, Ruben and Margarita Gonzales; sister, Rachel Salinas; brother, Ruben Gonzales, Jr; and granddaughter, Deanna Ramirez.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2021, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
