Barbara embarked on her journey of love and companionship when she married Charles S. Boyer on July 15, 1953, in Champaign, Illinois. Their union was a testament to enduring love and commitment, and together they navigated life's joys and challenges until Charles's passing. Barbara was of the Presbyterian faith, finding solace and strength in her spiritual beliefs.
A woman of many talents and interests, Barbara enriched her life and the lives of those around her with her passions. She found joy in the art of quilting, creating beautiful and intricate pieces that became cherished heirlooms. Her love for literature was evident in her fondness for reading, and she could often be found immersed in the pages of a good book. Barbara is survived by her loving children, David Boyer and wife, Cheryl of North Carolina and Debbie Gorski of South Carolina.
