Barbara Ann DuBose Ostteen

Barbara Ann DuBose Ostteen age 65 of McKinney, Texas passed away March 8, 2015 in Plano, Texas. She was born October 9, 1949 in Vivian, Louisiana to Jennings Maurice DuBose and Maxine Norma (Pine) DuBose. Barbara married Bobby Claude Ostteen September 2, 1967 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years Bobby Claude Ostteen of McKinney; daughter, Claudia Erin Ostteen of McKinney; son, Owen Bishop Ostteen of Longmont, Colorado; three grandchildren, Adeline Hannah, Eleanor Hannah and Lennon Ostteen; mother Maxine Norma Crocker of Bossier City, Louisiana and brother, Anthony Washburn of Bossier City, Louisiana.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Jennings DuBose and brother, David DuBose.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.

I met Barb and instantly liked her. She invited me into her home and treated me like family. She was a wonderful person who saw the best in people and did her best for them.
