Barbara N. Robinson, age 82, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2017. She was born on May 18, 1935, in Killeen, Texas, to Newman Amos and Leta Mae (Chalmers) Huggins. Barbara married John Steven Robinson on January 19, 1979, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, whom preceded her in death. She worked in the retail business as a cashier.
Barbara is survived by her children, Carolyn Torres and her husband Mako Higashida of Frisco, Texas, Bill Robinson and his wife Stephanie of The Colony, Texas, John Farmer and his wife Janelle of Kemp, Texas, Linda Sue Wall of Tillamook, Oregon; her grandchildren, JD Farmer, John Farmer, James Farmer, Kristopher Jones, Jerromie Jones, Joshua Jones, Kristian Ritter, Adam Torres, Brett Nixon, Drew Nixon, Shannon Decker, Valarie Robinson; twenty-one great grandchildren; her brothers, James Huggins and his wife Vila of Frisco, Texas, Wayne Hoskins of Colorado; her sisters, Diane Hargrove and her husband Guy of Van Alstyne, Texas, Linda Hajek and her husband Hanz of Vienna, Austria; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Besides her beloved husband, John S. Robinson, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sylvia Elaine Jones; her grandson, Jon Robinson; her brothers, Howard Huggins and Joe Lynn Hoskins; and her sister Martha Carol Wagner.
A memorial service for Barbara Robinson will be held at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Frisco Chapel, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 10:30 AM, with visitation one hour prior, beginning at 9:30 AM.
