Mrs. Barbara Ann Meller, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, age 64, of Garland, Texas, passed away December 16, 2004, in Plano, Texas. She was born March 20, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas, to Alvin and Lillian (Schuman) Pittman. She married Reuben Meller on August 14, 1959, in San Antonio. Mrs. Meller was self-employed and of the Lutheran faith. She was a lifetime member of the PTA and a member of the School Nurses Association. She was active in the decorative lighting industry, including management of Dallas Lighting Center in the 1980’s. She will be forever missed! She is survived by her husband, Reuben Meller of Garland, Texas; daughters, Donna Harris of Plano, Texas, Debbie Burt and husband, Chris of Allen, Texas, and Connie Krell and husband, Jerry of Plano; grandchildren, Jessica Harris, Melissa Harris, Eddie Harris, Wendy Krell and Jason Krell; great-granddaughter, Julia Harris; brothers and sisters, Martha Campbell, Lillian Pittman, William Alvin Pittman and Eddie Pittman. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jimmy Pittman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 21, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Ervin G. Roorda officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
