Barbara Ann Bennett, age 81, of Princeton, Texas passed away on April 17, 2021. She was born on June 15, 1939 to Ola (Cameron) and R.B. Fisher in Snow Hill, Texas. On November 7, 1969, Barbara married Tommy J. Bennett in Sherman, Texas. She worked in the manufacturing industry as an inspector and was a member of the Gunter Ladies Club where she once served as president.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tommy Bennett of Princeton, Texas; her son, Rick Koonce of Culleoka, Texas; grandson, Rickey Koonce and his wife, Kerrie of Culleoka, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Trevor, Haylie, Dakota, and Reagan; brother, James Fisher and his wife, Barbara of Weatherford, Texas; two nieces, Debra Bradford and Barbara Gentle; nephew, Jerry Dale Fisher; sister-in-law, Mary Kolb and her husband, Steve; brother-in-law, Billie Bennett and his wife, Debby.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Ola Fisher, and her sister, Loretta Gentle.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 300 W. Pecan Street, Gunter, Texas 75058, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Gunter Cemetery located on Foy Wallace Road, Gunter, Texas 75058 on Thursday, April 22, 2021beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Scott Jordan officiating.
