Slept in the Lord on April 20, 2012, in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Native of Medak and daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Konda Gordon Anandam, she was a distinguished nursing educator and practitioner. Ms Anandam was the Nursing Director of Osmania General Hospital and later served as Principal, College of Nursing, Somajiguda. As a young student, she won Government scholarship to earn a B.S. degree in Nursing in Australia. Later, she won Fulbright scholarship to study in Boston University, USA, and earned Masters and Doctorate degrees. She became a Professor of Nursing in Ohio and educated many medical/surgical nursing students. She had a big heart for serving humanity and supported her family’s success in Hyderabad and in the USA. This world would not shine as brightly without her magic touch of healing. Until her last days, she was a blessing to her family and to everyone who crossed her path. She was instrumental in helping the children of Bishop Prabhudass and Sally Babbili to settle down in the US. We are ever so grateful for this kind of Lord’s Blessings through her. May her soul rest in peace with our Lord.
