Mrs. Badie Pearl Bruce, age 90 of McKinney, Texas passed away on March 9, 2004, in McKinney. She was born on May 27, 1913 in Ravia, Oklahoma to George W. and Pearl (Holder) Harlin. She married John Bruce and was a member of the Waddill Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, B.B. Newton, Jerry Ann Hale, Margaret Wallace, George M. Human all of Durant, Oklahoma and John B. Bruce of McKinney, Texas; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, George W. Harlin, Jr. of Durant; and numerous other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 3 brothers; and 2 sister. A graveside service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, March 12, 2004 at Pecan Grove Cemetery with Rev. Dennis George officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
