Austin James Hessell

Austin James Hessel of Allen, Texas passed away December 28, 2020 at the age of 23. He was born on July 28, 1997 to Danny Hessell and Corrina (Phillips) Hessell in Denton, Texas. Austin was a 2015 graduate of Allen High School in Allen, Texas. He enjoyed skateboarding, art, music, playing piano, the Dallas Cowboys and getting new tattoos.

Austin was handsome, smart, funny, compassionate, and he loved deeply. His smile lit up a room and his “cheesy grin” could melt your heart. He was a friend to everyone. He loved his family and friends deeply and adored his brother from day one. They were not only brothers, but best buddies. Austin was not just a son and brother, but a best friend to his dad, mom and brother. To know Austin was to LOVE Austin. He will be missed dearly by everyone.

Austin is survived by his parents, Danny and Corrina Hessell; brother, Preston Hessell; grandparents, Monty and Dorinda Martin, James Phillips, Clever Hilliard, JoAnn Ledford, and Debbie Blakeley; great-grandparents, Tom and Barbara Langley; aunt, Staci Phillips and cousins, Jordan Phillips, Calley Zamudio and Seiler Black; aunt, Aspen, uncle, Matt, and cousins, Kyla Kowan and Kinley Ingle; along with many great-uncles, great-aunts, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Floyd Noles and great-grandparents, Ova Noles, Edgar and Novalene Phillips.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the funeral service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Austin’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/austin-james-hessell. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Austin and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

A “come and go” visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing and masks will be required.
