IN LOVING MEMORY

Ashley Alaina Wren

Oct 12 1980 - Apr 11 2021

Ashley Alaina Jungman Wren was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 12, 1980. She passed on from this earthly life on April 11, 2021 at her home in Leonard, Texas surrounded by family.

Ashley and her husband, Landon, settled in Leonard on a ranch they named The Wren’s Nest. There, they added Annaleigh to their family. Ashley loved the outdoors and spent much of her time enjoying her home and the many animals that came to live there.

Ashley had a passionate and loving heart for those in need. Known for both her fiery and loving spirit; she socialized, tamed and rescued both people and animals. She worked for many years as a veterinary technician, but when she became a mother, her purpose was redefined. Rescuing lost, injured, and homeless animals of all kinds including dogs, cats, birds, cows, and horses was her passion and purpose. She established a rescue called Second Chance Souls to give neglected animals a home and provide them with nurturing love, protection, and ultimate healing.

Ashley loved horses…and always cherished memories of her rodeo competitions, traveling alongside her brother, Matt. She instilled that love, legacy, and passion in her daughter, with enthusiasm. It will be an ongoing tribute that will be nurtured as Annaleigh carries on her mother’s skill and love for riding.

Although her time was cut short, Ashley’s memory, direction and purpose will be cherished by countless friends and loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Landon Wren, and daughter, Annaleigh, of Leonard, Texas; her mother, Carol Holland of Fort Worth; her father, Vic Jungman of Weatherford; her dad, Dan Boyd of Glade Water; her sisters, Tiffany Kelly of San Antonio and Ella Holland of Fort Worth; and her brother, Matthew Jungman and wife Morghan; 4 nephews and a niece, extended family, and friends.

A Rememberance Gathering to honor and celebrate her life will be held 3:00 - 5:00 PM Saturday, May 15th at  Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 701 N. Cedar St., Leonard, TX 75452

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Denison Animal Welfare Group.
