Arturo De La Cruz passed away February 25, 2022 in Princeton, Texas at the age of 61. He was born on May 13, 1960 to Alejo De La Cruz and Petra Martinez in Corpus Christi, Texas. Arturo played the bass, accordion, guitar and was very talented musically. He loved cooking for his family, and he loved to dance. Arturo was funny and had a great sense of humor sharing stories and events. He was very kind and had a big heart and many friends. Arturo was a survivor and stood strong in his faith. He was saved and was a strong believer of Jesus Christ. He knew the power and love of God Almighty.
He is survived by his siblings, Elida Luna, Catarino De La Cruz and wife, Bonnie, Alejo De La Cruz and wife, Betty, Juan De La Cruz, Gloria Garza, Robert De La Cruz and wife, Amanda, Eloisa Salomon, Jesse De La Cruz and wife, Leticia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arturo was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Ysabel De La Cruz Rios.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, March 4, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Arturo’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/arturo-de-la-cruz. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. The family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the service a procession will make its way to Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas for interment.
