Arthur Lee Lowe of Plano, Texas passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 91. He was born on October 17, 1931 to Anderson and Wanda (Castle) Lowe in Williamson, West Virginia. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He earned a business degree from the University of Texas in Austin. Arthur worked in real estate and later negotiated property contracts for Texas Instruments corporate division for site selections, traveling around the world to Tokyo, etc.
Arthur married Bonita Mae Brown on September 3, 1977 in Clark Country, Nevada and settled in Plano, Texas for the remainder of his life. He was the adoptive father to Felicia Gaye Wyatt, stepfather to Jerry Dean Johnson, grandfather to Arthur Joseph Johnson and Abigail Marie Johnson. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He was an artist and enjoyed making gold jewelry, painting, wood carving, wood turning, etc.
Arthur is survived by Bonita Mae (Brown) Lowe, Felicia and Robert Wyatt, Jerry and Catherine Johnson, AJ Johnson, and Abigail Johnson; and a host of other loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
