Armando Armijo, Jr. of Garland, Texas passed away November 15, 2020 at the age of 25. He was born on July 20, 1995 to Armando Armijo, Sr. and Maricruz Mendez in McAllen, Texas.

Armando is survived by his father, Armando Armijo, Sr. of Mesquite, Texas; mother, Maricruz Mendez of Garland, Texas; brother, Nicholas; sisters, Valerie, Melinda and Mandy; grandmother and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of invited guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

The funeral service will also be live streamed on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at on Armando’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

However, those who would like to honor Armando and show their support to his family may come to the funeral home where ample parking is available. While you remain in your vehicle, you may watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.

The family has requested that masks be worn at all times during services.

You had a wonderful heart always checking on me, stopping by even if Destiny wasn't here just to give me a hug. Making sure I was healthy or taking care of myself... never selfish. You brought my daughter laughter and tears but from day 1 you were FAMILY. You are very much loved and You will be deeply missed.
