Arista Angelis Broussard, age 86, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born September 27, 1932, in Arnaudville, Louisiana, to Nolie (Jolivette) and Eddie Broussard. Arista married the love of his life, Hilda (Cormier) Broussard, on January 12, 1963, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. He worked as a concrete mixer in the commercial construction industry.
Arista is survived by his beloved wife, Hilda Broussard of Frisco; his son, Eddie Broussard of Lake Charles, Louisiana; his daughter, Jackie Jolivette and her husband, Kirk, of Frisco; his grandchildren, Brandon Jolivette, Brittany Vallaire, and Zechariah Cormier; his great-grandchildren, Tristen William, Harry Huntley Jr., Mesiah Huntely, and Mister Huntley; his sister, Lovinia Singleton of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolie and Eddie Broussard Sr.; his sisters, Vida Derousselle, Viola Zeno, Lorena Zeno; and his brothers, Eddie Broussard Jr., Clayton Broussard, Russell Broussard, and Nedly Broussard.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. The family invites friends to a visitation prior to the service that will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral mass at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas.
