Araceli “Cheli” Pacheco of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 30, 2022. She was born on June 29, 1981 to Apolinar Pacheco and Angelica Arzola in McKinney, Texas. Araceli grew up in McKinney where she attended McKinney High School. Shortly after high school, Cheli had her first daughter, Angelica Celeste. Following Angelica were her daughters, Karla and Kailee and her son, David. Cheli loved to go dancing. Her loves in life were on display while dancing. She loved wearing her boots and her favorite color was black, on display in her clothes. She loved her family so much. She called everyone, just to say, “Hi, what ya up to?” and to let them know she was thinking of them. Cheli loved her job as a bus monitor, taking care of the needs of the kids she helped. She loved to laugh, and it made others laugh as well! Cheli’s family will cherish the jokes and pranks she enjoyed. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
She is survived by her children, Karla Lopez and October Baia of McKinney, Texas, Kailee Lopez of McKinney, Texas and David E. Lopez of McKinney, Texas; father, Apolinar M. Pacheco of McKinney, Texas; sister, Blanca E. Pacheco and David Baltierrez of Hutchins, Texas; brothers, Fernando Pacheco and Cynthia Frias of McKinney, Texas and Victor Pacheco of McKinney, Texas; niece and nephew, Yvette A. Pacheco and Fernando O. Pacheco; 9 aunts and uncles; numerous cousins and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Angelica Pacheco; daughter, Angelica Celeste; grandmother, Cuca Arzola; grandfathers, Jose Angel Arzola and Cornelio Pacheco; uncles, Francisco Arzola, Pablo Arzola, Noe Mendieta and Ruben Armijo; aunts, Estela Arzola and Meli Pacheco.
The family will receive friends for a rosary at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memoria Park.
A visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
