Antonio Fernandez Loya of McKinney, Texas passed away January 4, 2018, at the age of 74. He was born April 10, 1943, to Gabriel Loya and Fausta (Fernandez) Loya in Chihuahua, Mexico. Antonio married Luz E. Perez on January 6, 1986, in Matachic, Chihuahua. He was of the Catholic Faith.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Luz Loya of McKinney, Texas; children, Omar Loya of Scranton, Pennsylivana,Verenice Moran (Marlon) of McKinney, Texas, Lorena Loya of Sachse, Texas, Jorge Loya (Dinora) of Red Oak, Texas and Antonio Loya, Jr. also of Red Oak; brothers, Socorro Loya (Rocio) of McKinney, Texas, Ramon Loya (Luz) of McKinney, Texas, Rogelio Loya (Magda) of Dallas, Texas, and Gilberto Loya (Amalia) of Mexico; sisters, Romelia Loya (Jesus), Nata Loya (Marcos), and Elvira Loya all of Mexico; twelve grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Veronica Loya.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. Interment is to follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A rosary is set for 7:00 p.m.
