Antonio Joseph Curcio

Mr. Antonio Joseph Curcio, age 74, of Wylie, Texas passed away November 30, 2006, in Plano, Texas. He was born February 15, 1932 in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania to Dominic Curcio and Carmella Salatino Curcio. On May 22, 1954 he married Odessa V. Pulley in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Curcio proudly served in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict where he was awarded the Silver Star. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Newark, New York and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie. He is survived by his wife, Odessa Curcio of Wylie, Texas; daughters, Mary Curcio of Garland, Texas, Amy Williams and her husband, Peter of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, John and Tara Williams; and sister, Connie Chelenza of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Carmella; and sister, Rosemarie Lapamarda. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie with Fr. Loyd Morris officiating. Entombment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. with visitation immediately following, Monday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
