Anthony Eugene McGee was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away in McKinney, Texas. He is survived by his son, Anthony Rodriguez, his mother, Valeta McGee, his father, Hillard Davis, and his siblings, Carmyletta Wilson, Crystal Crittenden, Hillard Shaw, and Rodney McGee. He leaves behind a loving family that includes brother-in-law, Timothy Crittenden, sister-in-law, Charlsie Ann McGee, nieces, Antaya Wilson, Anterria Wilson, Thelma McGee, Azahni Anderson, and Anjunessia Husband, nephews, Billy Jones, Brandun Jones, Jack Shaw, Dontae Shaw, and Rodney McGee, as well as his beloved grandmother, Mary Ealom, grandfather, Clady McGee, and uncles and aunts.

Throughout his life, Anthony embraced many passions. He was a proud and loving father, dedicated to nurturing the bond with his son. His caring nature extended to his nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart. An avid motorcyclist, Anthony found joy in the open road and thrill in the freedom it offered. As a professional boxer and poker player, he exhibited dedication and skill. He was driven by an unwavering commitment to fitness and well-being.

Anthony was a vibrant member of his community, participating in a bowling league and pursuing entrepreneurial ventures with a strong work ethic that never saw him miss a day of work. He traveled often, seeking new experiences that enriched his life. A true family man, he valued the time spent with loved ones, creating memorable moments that will be cherished forever. Anthony's legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire those who knew him.

He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Anthony was preceded in death by Hilliard Davis, Addie Mae Davis, Marva McGee, DeEtta Phillips, Aaron McGee, and Leon Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/anthony-eugene-mcgee.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
