Mrs. Annie L. Hensley, age 95, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 27, 2005, in Gunter, Texas. She was born November 19, 1909, in Hartsville, Tennessee, to John R. and Maude (Morris) Belcher. On March 19, 1929, she married Gilbert Wendell Hensley in Dallas, Texas. In the 1950’s they owned and operated Cabell’s Minute Mart, Minute Café and Tom Thumb Grocery on Tennessee Street in McKinney. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Woodall of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Tom Andrews of San Jose, California; Ann-Marie Andrews Macomber of McKinney, Texas, and Scott Hensley of Westminster, Maryland; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Hensley and one son, Gilbert Hensley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
