Annie Loleta Belknap, age 75, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away April 28, 2007 in Abilene, Texas. She was born June 11, 1931 in Collin County, Texas to James Franklin and Geneva Opel (Bell) McLain. On July 16, 1947 she married David Dare Belknap in Benjamin, Texas. She was a homemaker, seamstress and had worked in a print shop. She moved to Sweetwater in December 2005 from Frisco, Texas. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She is survived her by daughters, Pat Kirk and husband, Wayne of Sweetwater, Texas and Loleta Kay White-Findeisen and husband, Brad of Twentynine Palms, California; son, James Belknap and wife, Vickie of Frisco, Texas; sisters, Rosemarie Klutts and husband, James of Knox City, Texas, Geneva Cartwright and husband, Gene of Leonard, Texas, Rachel Cohea and husband, Jack of Irving, Texas and Jean Galloway and husband, Roel of Sherman, Texas; special sister, Faye McDaniel of Sherman, Texas; brother, Johnny McLain and wife, Gloria of Fate, Texas; sister-in-law, Nancy McLain of Sherman, Texas; twenty grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Belknap, who passed away August 21, 2002; brothers Jack and Tommy McLain; sister, Joyce McLain; one grandson and her parents, James F. and Geneva O. McLain. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Wayne Kirk and Rev. Alton Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
