Annette DeFee Carroll

Annette Maureen (DeFee) Carroll of Plano, Texas passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 76. She was born on March 24, 1945 to Robert Alonzo DeFee, Jr. and Lucile (Benidt) DeFee in Tyndall Field, Florida. Annette married Freddie Lynn Carroll on August 26, 1967 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a long-time member of Grace Church in Plano, Texas. 

Annette was a loving wife and devoted mother to her three kids, as well as a wonderful grandmother to her six grandchildren. After accepting Jesus as her personal Savior at the age of 28, Annette became a fierce prayer warrior, starting each day seeking the Lord's will. She was a passionate person with many interests, including politics, sports, gardening, but most of all her family and faith. She has left a permanent mark of love, sacrifice, selflessness, and generosity to those around her. 

Annette is survived by her husband, Freddie Carroll of Plano, Texas; children, Ashley Bundy and husband, Brian of Waco, Texas, Seth Carroll and wife, Tiffany of Murphy, Texas, and Bethany Sanders and husband, Dustin of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Cameron Bundy, Caleb Bundy and Carter Bundy, all of Waco, Texas and Reagan Carroll, Hudson Carroll and Peyton Carroll, all of Murphy, Texas; and her brothers, Robert “Bobby” DeFee and wife, Ann of Williamsburg, Virginia and Jay DeFee and wife, Gene of Lamesa, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucile DeFee.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Gerald Brooks will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Grace Church of Plano, 3301 Preston Rd, Plano, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at www.graceplano.live for those who are unable to attend.
