Anne-Marie Holbert (Araujo) was born June 22, 1960, in Providence, Rhode Island to John and Mary Araujo. Anne passed on December 6, 2022 and was greeted by her father, John Araujo and embraced by our Heavenly Father. Anne died at the age of 62 in the comfort of her bed at home surrounded by her children, grandchildren, friends, and her loving pet, Bo. Anne is survived by her children, Corey Araujo, Victoria Holbert, Willie Holbert IV, DeLaVonta Gregory, Taylr Holbert, and Christopher Cosby; eight grandchildren, Corey Araujo Jr., Tiana Araujo, Natalie Keller, Nicole Keller, Isaac Cosby, Bryson Cosby, Ezra Cosby, and Luka Unger; one grandchild expected Baby Gregory; and in-laws, mother, Mary Araujo; sisters, Lisa Hayman, Andrea Araujo, and Nichole Brown including many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Anne attended St. Joseph’s School for Nursing in North Providence, Rhode Island. She was the President of her nursing class. Anne worked for United Health Care as a Nurse Case Manager until her retirement. She excelled at every job she did. Anne was quickly elevated to a higher position based on her integrity and ethics as it applies to patient care. She was also a gifted Wedding Planner and she named her business after her favorite bird-The Hummingbird. Anne never stopped working even given the many physical hardships she experienced.
Anne gave her heart to Christ at Zion Gospel Temple in East Providence, Rhode Island over 50 years ago. She was a member of One Community Church in Plano, Texas where she served as the Team Leader of a Lady’s Ministry. Anne encouraged and guided women experiencing abuse & divorce using the Word of God. Prior to her illness, she served as a Greeter. Her empathy and compassion drew people toward her. Her praise was always to God.
The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Sunday evening, December 11, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
