Anna Robinson of McKinney, Texas passed away February 22, 2022 at the age of 85.  She was born on March 15, 1936 to Clyde Charles Chandler and Thelma Kathryn (Howard) Chandler in McKinney.  Anna married Jerry Cecil Robinson on March 2, 1954 in Arlington, Texas.  They met on a blind date in 1953 in McKinney and shared a love story and enjoyed life together for 68 years.

She worked and retired from Collin County Senior Citizen Center after many dedicated years.  Anna was a member of Farmersville Church of Christ in Farmersville, Texas.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  Anna will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Jerry C. Robinson of McKinney, Texas; son, David Robinson of Garland, Texas; daughter, Debra Pintar and husband, Larry of McKinney; granddaughter, Vanessa Snyder of McKinney, Texas; great-grandson, Zachary Long, also of McKinney, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles Chandler; and sister, Virginia Rose.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Anna’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/anna-robinson.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.  Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Amity Hospice, especially Joni Smith and the staff for their tender loving care of Anna. Also, a special thank you to the staff of Joyous Care Homes.
